Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

I know what you are thinking. I've seen this car everywhere on the roads-it's just another lancer. But no- this is no ordinary lancer. I think that if you take the time to read what makes the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution different- you'll see that this car is deceiving both on the outside and inside. But beware- the awesomeness of this car might just take over you.

(Source:http://www.zcars.com.au/images/mitsubishi-lancer-evolution-x-fq4001.jpg)

I think that by now you should be tempted into buying this car just from its sheer sporty look and mouth-dropping exterior right? So what is the Mitsubishi Lancer evolution? Well, I'll tell you more.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, also known as the Evo, is a high-performance sports car manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors that is based on the Lancer. There have been ten official versions to date, and the designation of each model is most commonly a roman numeral. All use two litre, turbocharged engines and all-wheel drive systems.

The Evolution was originally intended only for Japanese markets, but demand on the "grey import" market led the Evolution series to be offered through Ralliart dealer networks in the United Kingdom and in various European markets from around 1998. Mitsubishi decided to export the eighth generation Evolution to the United States in 2003 after witnessing the success Subaru had in that market with their long-time direct rival, the Subaru Impreza WRX.

BRUTALPERFORMANCE

SUPER ALL WHEEL CONTROL (S-AWC)

(Source: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/image-resize/made/uploads/vehicles/lancer-evolution/2013/performance/evo-sawc_640_320_90_c1.jpg)

I think that the driving features of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution are simply incredible. Why? Well, first of all the S-AWC system is made up of 4 independent systems working together and operated via the vehicle’s ECU to give you handling that defies belief. The Active Centre Differential works in three modes – tarmac, gravel and snow – to enable quicker control response for changes in road surfaces. Active Stability Control automatically recognises under steer and over steer and applies brakes to the appropriate wheels and the Super Active Yaw Control distributes torque between the rear wheels. To give you complete confidence in all situations, the Lancer Evolution also features Sports ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.

I think that if you still don't believe me- then watch this video and see for yourself!!!

2.0L TURBOCHARGED MIVEC ENGINE

(Source: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/image-resize/made/uploads/vehicles/lancer-evolution/2013/performance/evo-mivec-turbo_640_320_90_c1.jpg)

I can't believe how much more power and torque the Evo has compared to normal lancers. It's just insane! Bury the pedal and 366Nm of torque rears up and hurls you toward the imminent horizon in the blink of an eye. Cast from aluminium, the turbocharged MIVEC Engine produces 217kW@6500rpm. The turbocharger features a titanium turbine wheel which delivers an improvement of up to 18% in response time at lower revs. Changes have also been made to the MIVEC system. It now utilises a direct-acting valve-train for additional weight reduction and optimal power, and also operates on both the intake and exhaust valves for optimum engine efficiency.

BREMBO BRAKES

(Source: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/image-resize/made/uploads/vehicles/lancer-evolution/2013/performance/evo-brembo-brakes-fr_640_320_90_c1.jpg)

Yep I know- how beautiful are these calipers? I think that if you drive with these spinning around you'll be turning heads all over the streets. With over 30 years of racing competition experience, Brembo is the only brand worthy to feature on the Evolution. To reign in the power of the Evolution, the front sports 350mm ventilated discs with 4-piston callipers, while the rear houses 330mm discs with opposed 2-piston callipers. Braking is enhanced even further for the Evolution MR with 350mm ventilated 2 piece constructed rotors at the front to reduce weight. The size of the brakes not only brings an increase in performance, the ventilated discs allow heat to be dispersed quickly to reduce braking fade.

With all this incredible performance in mind, the question becomes is it safe? I think so, and if you read the safety specs below I'm sure you'll agree.

DURABLE PLATFORM

(Source: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/image-resize/made/uploads/vehicles/lancer-evolution/2013/safety/lancer-mechanical-safety-rise-body-fr_810_375_90_c1.jpg)

I think that the construction of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is nothing short of quality. Stamped from a single piece of steel, the Lancer Evolution's chassis is built for the long run. And with engineered flexibility, it helps the suspension do its job. Attached to this impressive foundation are the aluminium roof, hood, front bumper beam and fenders that add strength while minimizing weight. And for better weight distribution, the battery and windshield-washer fluid tank are actually mounted in the trunk area. Overall, this platform is strong, light and balanced - just like a world-class athlete built for speed.

SEVEN AIRBAG SAFETY SYSTEM

(Source: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/image-resize/made/uploads/vehicles/lancer-evolution/2013/safety/evo-airbags-fr_810_375_90_c1.jpg)

I think that the Evo is not only a very fast car, but a very safe one too- why? Well, This innovative system features six standard airbags (front, front seat-mounted side-impact, and side-curtain), along with a seventh under the driver’s side dash that stabilizes your lower body and knees during certain types of frontal collisions. This is one feature you'll probably never use, but it's nice to know it's there.

Airbags are part of a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). To decrease the risk of injury from a deploying airbag, always wear your seat belt, sit upright in the middle of the seat and do not lean against the door. Always place children 12 and under in the rear seat and use appropriate child restraints. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat.

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid

I think if I had the money or even had the courage to drive this car.. I seriously would. If any of you readers adore fast, luxury, world renowned cars.. this is the one. Who does not know Porsche? If you don't, it's time you do. You will understand why I say "if I had the money". You may agree that this brand has a reason for it being world renowned. Keep reading and I'm sure you'll agree with me.

Many roads lead to your destination. But which ones take you further? To a new future? With a sports car for the road and for the 21st century?

E-mobility is the next big step. With the Panamera S E-Hybrid they are bringing to the road a total concept that networks the car and its driver in an intelligent way. Its performance puts most sports cars to shame. Yet its fuel consumption is far below the rate you would usually expect of a sports car.

Die-hard Panamera fans will probably notice the subtle cosmetic updates which include re-shaped headlights, LED taillights, new turn signals, front bumper with larger air intakes, and new placement for the license plate.

In the new Panamera S E-Hybrid, innovative battery technology and a powerful electric motor herald a little revolution in alternative drives: driving pleasure. Porsche round off their concept with practical solutions, which have had them realise with e-mobility services – smartphone access and control functionalities – and with practical charging systems. Now you can top up your car’s energy levels by plugging it into an electrical socket using the Porsche Universal Charger (AC) provided as standard. For an all-electric range of up to 36 km (in NEDC). Drive forces are transmitted as standard by the 8-speed Tiptronic S. Also fitted as standard are the adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the speed-sensitive Power steering Plus.

The Panamera S E-Hybrid maintains its visual identity with the customary ‘e-hybrid’ logo on the front doors, the ‘Panamera S’ logo on the rear hatch with an Acid Green surround, the same as the needles of the newly developed power meter in the centre of the instrument cluster. The brake calipers are also finished in Acid Green as standard. The features it shares with the S model – the exterior design and the exquisite styling of the interior – are similarly characteristic. It almost goes without saying that a comprehensive range of personalisation options is available.

Are you starting to agree with me yet? This Porsche really defines the word 'sleek' and fast, don't you think? Not only is the engine strong, but the exterior blows away my mind and what can I say, so does the interior.

I can't help but adore this car even more! If I ever owned this a Panamera, I actually think I would name it.

The new Panamera S and 4S are now offered with twin-turbo V6 engines, instead of V8’s.  These V6 engines produce 414 HP and 384 pound-feet (520 Nm) of torque, mated to 7-speed PDK automatic transmissions.  The V6 engines produce 20 HP and 20 Nm of torque more than the V8 engines they replace.

SRT Peformance

SRT Performance

Do you know what does SRT stand for?

Street & Racing Technology

(Source: http://www.drivesrt.com/news/2012/04/srt-viper-cup-series-presented-by-pennzoil-ultra-heads-to-road-atlanta-for-rounds-1-and-2.html)

SRT is a high-performance automobile group from within Chrysler LLC. It focuses on develop Dodge selected vehicles, such as Viper, Challenger and Charger. Chrysler 300 and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Dodge Viper SRT

"SPEED is EVERYTHING "

The Dodge Viper SRT first put on production at 1992.  It has extreme performance at the time. With a massive 8.0L V10 in front, it produces 400 bhp and 465 lb-ft and all power will be transmitted to rear wheel through a 6-speed manual transmission.

SRT Viper Logo.jpg
SEE what happen when the 16 years heavy modified Viper SRT MATCH UP the latest 2013 Viper SRT!!!!

The MASSIVE 8.4L V10 NA engine produce 640 bhp (480kW) @6500rpm and 600 lb-ft (810 N.m) @4950rpm
A number of small changes help the 8.4-liter engine both hit those higher figures and drop a few pounds. The trick cam-in-cam variable valve-timing system remains, although the profile of the intake lobes was reworked. Engineers credit this with about 10 of the additional horses. A new composite intake manifold with longer runners replaces the old aluminium piece, dropping seven pounds from the top of the engine and ratcheting power up another 10 horses or so and pumping torque up about 20 lb-ft. An aluminium flywheel cuts 11 pounds, helping revs build faster, and sodium-filled exhaust valves help keep engine temps down as well as saving a pound. In total, the engine is 25 pounds lighter now than its predecessor.

This is the REAL BREAST !!!

Dodge Challenger SRT8

A Classic Modern American Muscle

The first car that carried the Challenger name was the mid-year introduction of a limited edition 1959 Dodge Silver Challenger. This was a six-cylinder or V8 model available only in silver paint and only on a two-door body. It came with extra features at no cost, including premium white wall tires, full wheel covers, electric windshield wipers, as well as an upgraded interior with luxury fabrics and wall-to-wall deep pile carpeting.

Dodge Charger SRT8

An SRT-8 version of the Charger debuted at the 2005 New York International Auto Show. Powered by a 425 hp (317 kW) version of the 6.1 L (370 cu in) Hemi, it also featured upgraded Brembobrakes, and interior and exterior updates. The engine produces 420 lb·ft (569 N·m) of torque. The 425 net horsepower of the modern 6.1 L Hemi makes it even more powerful than the legendaryChrysler Hemi engines of the muscle car era, the biggest of which was rated at 425 gross horsepower. This makes the 6.1 L Hemi engine the most powerful V8 engine that Chrysler has ever put in a production vehicle with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

Chrysler 300 SRT8

The Powerful American Luxury Sedan

The 300 SRT8 accelerated from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and finished the quarter mile in 12.7 seconds at 112.0 mph, making it the fastest 300 -- and fastest Chrysler -- we've ever tested. Those figures will match a Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE or Ford Mustang GT and would surprise Maserati Gran Turismo Sport drivers. Let the 300 SRT8 keep going and it'll eventually reach a top speed of 175 mph -- just save those attempts for the Texas Mile. Braking and handling performance was also top-notch for Chrysler. The big sedan made its best stop from 60 mph in 105 feet and completed the figure eight in 25.4 second at 0.78 g (avg). The 300 SRT8 might have a faster figure-eight time in it, but the relatively skinny 245-width tires and five-speed automatic hold it back.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

The Ultimate Performance SUV

(Source: http://www.drivesrt.com/2014/grand-cherokee-srt/gallery/)

An SRT-8 (Street and Racing Technology V8) version of the Grand Cherokee debuted at the 2005 New York International Auto Show. Powered by a 420 hp (313 kW) version of the 6.1 L Hemi, it also features upgraded Brembo brakes, large dual performance exhaust with polished tips (exiting out the middle of the rear), Bilstein performance gas charged shocks and modified suspension components, Mercedes-Benz NAG1 (WA580) 5-speed transmission, unique NV146 transfer case, specially designed electronic all-wheel-drive system and interior and exterior updates. A drive shaft from a diesel application, fortified Dana 44 rear differential, and 11.2" (285 mm) wide Goodyear tires in the rear (10" or 255 mm in the front) complement the performance package. The sports tuned suspension allows the Jeep SRT8 to develop 0.92 g on the skid-pad.

(Source: http://www.drivesrt.com/2014/grand-cherokee-srt/gallery/)

To achieve superior on-road handling, off-road gear has been removed to make the SRT-8 lighter. The SRT-8 uses an NV146 transfer case, which uses an electronic-applied clutch pack to transfer 0-50% of torque to the front axle but has no low-range or manual controls. The front and rear differentials are both open, with no limited-slip capability. Its ride stance is significantly lower and the front fascia spoiler gives the vehicle 7 inches (178 mm) of ground clearance. The Grand Cherokee SRT-8 was the first SRT vehicle to wear the Jeep emblem. A total of 11,775 Jeep SRT8s were produced.

Lexus

I think that if any of you readers out there are looking to buy a luxury car, then you must get a Lexus. The lexus is my absolute favourite and matches well if not better than its European rivals including BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi. Why? Simply because I think that it is the most reliable car out there and offers an unbeatable combination of luxury and sportiness that is just too hard to resist. If you are still not convinced, keep reading and I'm sure you'll change your mind and agree with me.

Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. First introduced in 1989 in the United States, Lexus is now sold globally and has become Japan's largest-selling make of premium cars. The Lexus marque is marketed in over 70 countries and territories worldwide, and has ranked among the ten largest Japanese global brands in market value. Lexus is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan. You are probably thinking "There are so many models Lexus offers- which one do I get?"
Well, I think that you can't go wrong with the Lexus IS 350. If you are a real car enthusiast, you have to try the F Sport Model.

I think that the IS 350's dramatic form and sculpted curves are the result of countless hours spent by Lexus designers to create a vehicle that evokes feelings of excitement and overwhelming desire 350's dramatic form and sculpted curves are the result of countless hours spent by Lexus designers to create a vehicle that evokes feelings of excitement and overwhelming desire.

SPORTS LUXURY SOPHISTICATION- too good to be true!

(Source:http://www.lexus.com.au/static/cms/images/Vehicles/NGIS/IS350/Features/Exteriors/IS350_exterior_sports-luxury_2.jpg)

I think that the exterior of the IS 350 Sports Luxury certainly lives up to its name with a blend of design features that are at once luxurious and sporty. Fitted with 18 inch  five spoke design alloy wheels, each spoke features a strikingly dynamic profile. A Tilt and Slide Electric Glass Moonroof with Sun Shade allows you to bring the outside in, adding a new level of exhilaration to your journey.

INSPIRED BY A SUPERCAR-TO ME, THIS CAR IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE

(Source:http://www.lexus.com.au/static/cms/images/Vehicles/NGIS/IS350/Features/Exteriors/IS350_exterior_Fsport_without-logo_2.jpg)
I undoubtedly agree that the F Sport model takes some of its design cues from Lexus' extraordinary LFA. Distinctive 18 inch F Sport design alloy wheels, inspired by our unique supercar, add to the performance and looks. The exclusive F Sport front bumper and grille enhance the IS 350 F Sport's already striking appearance while the choice of two colours exclusive to the F Sport, White Nova and Flame Blue, will ensure you'll always stand out from the crowd.

IS 350 SPORTING STYLE- How can you not love this car?

(Source: http://www.lexus.com.au/static/cms/images/Vehicles/NGIS/IS350/Features/Exteriors/IS350_exterior_sporting-style_5.jpg)

I know that every carefully considered element of the IS 350 builds upon its irresistibly fun, sporting feel. The alloy wheels provide a premium finish and signal that this is a vehicle for people who love to drive. The performance  credentials of the IS 350 are further highlighted by a dual exhaust system, capped off by the gleam of chrome exhausts, which adds to the audio accompaniment the IS 350 delivers.

A CUSTOMISED DRIVING EXPERIENCE- this is a car for everyone!

(Source:http://www.lexus.com.au/static/cms/images/Vehicles/NGIS/IS350/Features/Performance/IS350_performance_customized_4.jpg)

I can't believe that in an instant, the IS 350 becomes the vehicle you want it to be, allowing you to create a customised driving experience! With a simple twist of the Drive Mode Select dial on the centre console, you can totally retune the vehicle's personality and performance to your unique preference and the driving conditions. In ECO mode, throttle response, steering, transmission and Lexus Climate Control are optimised for maximum economy and an ECO meter is displayed on the dash.

In NORMAL mode, you'll experience smooth acceleration, the Lexus Climate Control system is reset for comfort and vehicle response is refined. Meanwhile, turn the dial to SPORT/SPORT S mode and the instrumentation display changes from blue to red and the throttle response is more direct.

BOLD F SPORT STYLE- jUST LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY!

(Source: http://www.lexus.com.au/static/cms/images/Vehicles/NGIS/IS350/Features/Interiors/IS350_interior_Fsport_1.jpg)

I strongly believe that after the ground-breaking creation of Lexus' LFA supercar, influences from this one-of-a-kind vehicle have been instilled in the IS 350 F Sport. This includes high technology Thin Film Transistor (TFT) instrumentation,  lifted straight out of the LFA, which lets you customise the menu display to suit your unique preferences. Menus slide out on the left side of the central meter to display information including audio settings and trip data in your preferred configuration.

The race-inspired touches don't end there. The seating incorporates a snug recess which grips the body for greater lateral support, while high side bolsters counteract G forces to keep you secure on tight corners. Perforated aluminium pedals and F Sport brushed aluminium scuff plates add sporting flair. The bespoke dimpled premium steering wheel and shift knob with F Sport badging and ornamentation complement the persona.
